Jon and I met with our cooperating teacher, Mr. Groebner, on October 28th for the first time. We learned about the environment in which he and his co-teacher, Mr. Perron, teach. We also learned about what to expect in the next couple weeks as the quarter is ending, with the new quarter around the corner (which goes into poetry and Shakespeare at the same time). They had just finished reading Jenna Fox (which Jon and I have become familiar with) and were about to start a movie, AI. These would be used then for a comparison paper between the novel and the movie. We had received Mr. Groebner's e-mail, along with Mr. Perron, and e-mail them on a regular basis with any questions or inquiries for more information about the classroom and the lessons involved.
